I will try to attach the "local" Skyray racing rules for the annual contest near Aurora, IL.  Fred Krueger is the man to ask for any new updates.

I do not have such pictures, but experience says  to use firm balsa.

I use 1/32" Ply doublers, under the cheek cowls, extending back at least 1" over the wing.  I also dowel pin the plywood firewall with 3/16" dowel ~3/4" long at the mounting screw locations.
