Cool, are these new production?

We bought up the remaing bodies, cores, washers and insulators from Cox, together with the glow head press, staker, coil winder and welder. The missing filament we got from their OEM supplier.
Our California based supplier put them all together.

Silly questions,
Is Cox completely out of business now? Just folks like you selling parts?
I have 10 or 12 reed 049's and a TD I picked up earlier this year for a 1/2A stunt plane.

Cox Hobbies (a division of Estes) has shut down their operations. We acquired their inventory, a portion of their tooling and might buy more tooling if we feel that there is a market for the parts. Here is the official announcement we made:

I'm sure you will require parts for those engines of yours down the road ;D We shall be there for you :)!

Bernie,
Thank you for picking up the Cox reins. H^^
It's folks like you (who are courageous enough to take chances), that keep the rest of us in the hobby. I sincerely hope you are well rewarded for your considerable financial investment, and tireless efforts.

I am sure there is a market for just about every part for these engines. :)
