Blackhawk Cyclone
« on: March 24, 2012, 08:05:32 PM »
I am starting a Blackhawk Cyclone and not sure what motor to put on it. I have cox bees, Black Widow,TD 049 or even a norvel big mig 049 sitting around. With the beam mount I was thinking baloon tank. Any thoughts? Thanks Rick

I would put together the best Black Widow you can with the parts on hand.

If possible, assemble a few, bench run 'em and put he second best engine on for the test flight and save the best for the contest.  The Cyclone is a possible winner.

Hello,

I just received a Cyclone kit today,
I love the way it was packed, all the little packets with the parts inside, the paper band around the instructions etc, Very professional, nice touch.
I will be buying more black Hawk kits when I can afford, most work out to around $50 AUS, with postage.
Regards
David.

Thanks Guys, Thats thats exactly what it is. A old bottle of Pactra Aerogloss Metallic Green. On the wings just sanding sealer and clear dope. Decided on the Black widow for power. Hoping to try it out this weekend, Done just in time for our club c/l funfly on the 9th. ;D
