Title: coroplast bi plane
Post by: philip metzner on July 13, 2012, 05:04:02 AM
I saw a build video for this little bi plane and had to build one, but the video isnt complete. Anyone know where the CG should be? I did alot of guess work and I think im tail heavy.

Using a birds eye view of the plane establish the total chord (LE of one wing to TE of the other).  Set the CG at 25 percent of the total chord from the LE.  This may not be perfect on a small bipe but it should be close enough for first flight.  This works well on my larger (500 to 700 sq in) biplanes.
