Hi all. I was just reading that back sometime around 1975 a gentleman by the name of Bob Crusan had designed and had the plans published in a magazine back then. I was thinking it would be cool and that the kids next to where I fly would get a kick out of this, only if I could source the plans. So, would anybody out there have a scan or copy that they could post, or even know where I could download a set. Thank you.

I should have that magazine. Check your email.
There was also an article in Model Airplane News for a R/C version of the Dog House. One of the local R/C guys built one. It did fly but it was pretty unstable.

Figure that anything like that is going to be a handful to fly. Airplanes do not look like doghouses or mowers for a reason.

SNOOPY'S DOG HOUSE BY R.L. CRUSAN, is available from the AMA plans service for $13. Bob specialized in unusual designs, all of which flew amazing well. I think I will build one for the final Brodak Flyin, Bob would have liked that.

Thanks all for the help. I was able to get my hands on a set from someone local.

John, could you please give me the month/year and the plans number? As usual, the Model Aviation website won't let me in to see the archives, and the plans page is garbage for trying to search for a plan.

AMA plan # is 60308, it doesn't say what magazine it was in if any.

I don't think it was ever in Model Aviation, but I think it might have been MAN

Received the Snoopy plan today. Span is 19", the fuselage and tail surfaces are dog bones, the the main part of the fuse a dog house with Snoopy on top. Should fly very well. It was published in MAN 04/1971. Now off to the shop.

Yeah, that is the RC version,, someone must have converted it. Bob's CL version looks quite different. And it looks to be fully maneuverable, although not a competition stunter.

Here is what Bob's Snoopy looks like
