3/4  front view. Torn between conventional gear or trike gear, as they had both.

HI Chief,

Gonna try counter rotating props?  Super simple as you know with the Babe Bees. ;D

Both engines are brand new and have pusher three blade props. Since they do run backwards, I'll run them that way. Should be fun, Ha. H^^ y1

I have gotten lazy and all my Babe Bees, Golden Bees, Black Widows, etc., etc., all have the spring starters.  Since the springs are offered for both rotations, and props are available for both rotations, if I ever get around to building my 1/2A twin I will run them opposite just for the heck of it! LOL!!

BTW: How many crew members flew in that plane?

A nice project of an unusual design. Is the plan you are using the one published in Model aviation a number of years ago? I have a lazer cut kit of that one from Lazer Works that I was going to get to this winter.

Ty,
There appears to have been 9 built, two main variants, two and three wheeled gear, but several other minor variations. The designation "Y" means the plane got into an extended prototype evaluation phase which probably caused all the different versions. I think I'll put my lazer cut kit version on the list for this winter.

Nice plane. what are you using for silver paint? I used rustoleum silver once and it turned into a sticky mess when exposed to fuel.

Thank you,
Jim
