I figured I could get in a lot of two minute flights with an 049 Ringmaster for the Fly-a-thon. I started on it Monday and finished it Thursday. Power is a Testors 8000.

You build faster than me. I started mine on the 12th, finished it on the 26th, and flew it the day before yesterday.
That's a nice plane. So there'll be at least two Beginner Ringmasters spinning around this weekend.

It made its maiden flights today, 19 of them. Two by my friend Terry and the rest by me. With no mishaps except when it ran out of gas inverted....my bad. Luckily it landed in the grass. There were lots of Beginners and Baby Ringmasters in the air today in Burlington, Iowa.

Well two of my Ringmaster flights today were with the little 1/2A Stuntin Ringmaster. Using one of my Black Widow racing engines on 35 foot .012 cable. Using 6-3 APC prop. Wheel fell off on second landing. It was fast and responsive. Guess I must be getting old. H^^

Nice airplane Larry.

Saturday at Burlington, Larry also flew my Pat King electric Baby and my RSM S-1 electric. He declared that both of them were winners. #^
Hope he was not just being nice!!!

John, The electric S-1 was truly the best Old Time Stunt plane I have ever flown. It was trimmed very well and had tons of power. Although I did not stunt your electric Baby Ringmaster, it had way more power than my Testors 8000 or any Black Widow. You have got me thinking, anyhow. It was a pleasure to meet you and Jim Swearingen.

Larry,
The pleasure was mutual and I hope we can fly together again before too long!!!

What was the setup on the electric S-1? I may build one this winter.
