Title: ARMY SCOUT FROM COX
Post by: LARRY RICE on September 18, 2010, 02:30:46 PM
COX International will be offering the Army Scout kit (we sold it in the American Flyer kit) soon.  I have shipped them several kits and I believe that they will be offering a deluxe kit with the engine and fuel tank.  This is the best 1/2A trainer available that is made out of balsa.  The kit will include sandpaper and a tube of cement.  I expect that they will be on their web site in a couple of weeks.

Looks like the old "American Boy" with a few minor out line changes.  Sure glad someone is still doing 1/2A. H^^

yes, the Army Scout is based on the American Boy but we wanted to simplify it so that beginners could easily assemble it.  8 pieces of wood compared to 12 in the American Boy and ours is stronger.
