Title: Anyone interested in .008 stainless steel solids for 1/2A use?
Post by: Bob Hunt on January 03, 2018, 04:59:08 PM
Hi all:

I have a large roll of polished, annealed, medical grade, Stainless Steel .008 solid wire. At one point I got very interested in 1/2A size models, as my back yard is large enough in (over?) which to fly them (on no more than 35-foot long lines...). I still occasionally fly small electric CL models there, but I've come to the conclusion that I over-bought flying line!

If there is enough interest I will find a way to spool the wire (2 pieces per order) in, say, 50-foot lengths. I'm thinking that with an appropriate spool the cost would be in the $8.00 per set range. I'd entertain pro-rated discounts on longer lengths and on multiple unit orders of the 50-foot sets.

This is very nice wire, and I'd like to see it get used...
