Title: American Flyer report
Post by: LARRY RICE on May 03, 2010, 10:13:57 PM
Hi Larry,

Have  wonderful news.

Had a great maiden flight. Good CL plane. It made me look good. First
flight, the airplane flew with authority level from tip to tip and nose to
tail. Always pulled out. Winds were calm max breeze to 7 mph .

Flew till the tank got empty each time. The CG worked out at 0.45 inches
from LE. I had it a at 0.23 inches from LE but in the first circle of
flight the clay flew out. I saw it clearly doing that. Then  of course CG
moved back and it flew with authority.

Just wanted to give you a feed back as to how it all turned out as I always
contacted you when I had issues.

Thanks for the inputs and help,

Cheers,

Malav

Malav is a beginner, this was his first control line flight, his assistant was also a beginner.
