Title: 30 days to go!!!!!
Post by: LARRY RICE on May 31, 2007, 06:11:44 PM
Several months ago we sat down with Walt Musciano and talked about future kits for Black Hawk Models. We decided to make a line of 1/2A planes that will do the stunt pattern and out fly most all other 1/2A planes currently being produced. If everything arrives on time we are looking at a release date of 4 July 07. We expect to include a P-40, ME 109, Zero, and P-51D with more to come. Watch for these high performance model kits!

These are 50-50 old and new. Walt designed two planes in 1962, we realized the potential of those designs and sat down with him to rework them and add a couple more planes to the line. New innovations include a new style of wing that we are calling "Tongue in Groove". Walt assisted in updating the designs for the newer more powerful engines and adding the new planes to the line.  I am in charge of modifying the landing gear.

In 1962 the lack of powerful .049's limited the performance of this design but now the engines are available......I am excited about this!

Pictures, pictures, when can we see pictures.  I've been shopping for a plane for my TD 049.  Had almost decided on a baby flight streak -- almost.  Now I have more options to consider.

I am not allowed to give out pictures at this time but..... if you go to www.blackhawkmodels.com then to catalog and PS models (profile series) and look at Dick Sarpolus kit of the Zero or Spitfire and imagine a symmetrical build up wing and landing gear you will be close.
