Well, we flew 1cc and Leprechaun for the 10th! time yesterday at the Palmer Memorial meet. 5 flyers, 2 planes. Due to an engine falling off, Stan Tyler was not able to use his killer Twin Flite Streak. As a result the only planes available were Antone Kephart's Baby Magician (a Flying Models article and plan) and my Sky Sport (an RSM kit). Stan and Antone flew the Magician, Warren Walker, Eric Rule and I flew the SS. Andy Borgogna and Rich Waldrich (hope I spelled that right) judged.
Final talley put Antone first, Stan second and Warren third. Top score of the 5 was a 477 (no pattern points, so that would be over 500 last year!) Warren beat me by 3 points with my own plane. HB~>

Looks like you need to practice harder or get a new coach. LL~ LL~ LL~ May have to get my little 1/2 flying that I bought off someone years ago. H^^

Next time tell Warren to let you fly his plane to even things out! I find it easier to push the limits with something I didn't builld!
Glad you guys had fun - I got to do yard work.

By the way, Larry, Captain Blackhawk, makes kits of Dick Sarpoulos' models that will be just dandy for Kwikee Stunt, and probably, built light, for 1cc. Antone's flat wing baby Magician is showing a tremendous amount of potential. Now that the Palmer meet is past, perhaps he will get back to fine tuning it, as I will with the Blackhawk Bullet and Skyray. We have a Hollow Log Race (2 classes) and THE FIRST EVER KQIKEE STUNT CONTEST coming up this fall. It should be FUN!!!
