Title: 1/2A Maddness GYRO
Post by: Allan Perret on November 14, 2016, 07:38:51 AM
First flight yesterday on prototype of Pat King's Baby Ringmaster Gyro.    Cox .049,  13.3oz, 25' lines.  Will go to 30' for next flight.

That looks like a blast to fly.  I didn't think Gyro's were supposed to do loops.  Even watched the video of the throttled Otto the Gyro.

Pat scaled down my full size Otto to this 1/2 A size and the thing flies like a bat our of Hell.  I have never seen Allan so glad to see an engine quit.  I think next time he will use longer lines.  LOL LOL.....

Kudos to the builder and flyer, and Pat King the designer. I didn't know gyrocopters could stunt!  ~>
