Here's how we spent our flying day today. Got some maiden flights, got some new guys flying, really just had a blast.

Dan spilled his coffee on his fresh white shirt. He said "nothing says crazy old man like a huge coffee stain "

Great video! You sure have those engines set up great. I have yet to be able to start one so nicely without a spring starter.

I used the spring starter forever. I still like it. Like my daughters planes still have it. It helps with the whole starting the wrong way sometimes. Lol

I also use the spring starter, the old style on my Cox engines.   I do have two Cox engines that don't need spring starter.  They are the RR1.  Even have the left hand rotor for them.  Last time used on Combat Kittens they were out running a Tee Dee on bladder.  No, they are not for sale. H^^

Haven’t used a spring starter in years.  Replaced most of my prop screws with a TD spinner so I can pinch it to stop an engine that is running the wrong direction.
