Title: 1-1/8 inch spinners aluminum????
Post by: James Strickland on October 13, 2012, 12:26:05 AM
Hi All,  Does anyone know where I may find to buy a couple of aluminum 1-1/8" spinners to go on half-A engines?  Froom used to make some  YEARS ago.  I need one for a Pinto now, then I'm going to scale down another "modern design for 1/2A or 1cc full fledged built up fuse, swept back LE w/flaps   maybe a SV derivative????  can anyone help me please?  T.I.A.---James

Check Jim Lee Machine Shop in Vendor Section.
I have one of his 1 1/16" spinners, a work of art.

Hi James,

How small do the Brodak spinners go?

If no luck there, then Jim Lee has some slightly smaller ones that are works of art.  Spun aluminum like the old Frooms, and a nose piece with a hole through it.  He makes the adapters for Cox or Norvel.

Marshall Busby built a small SV (can't remember, maybe a miniature SV 22?) and used a rear exhaust .049 with a real pipe.  Check with him, he should be in the PAMPA Directory.

I have two brand new 1 1/8" spinners available. $24.00 for the pair. Exact shipping is extra.
