Title: .010 flying lines
Post by: Bill Little on December 18, 2011, 04:49:49 PM
OK, once I get the super duper .010 stunter built, what size and TYPE of lines will be best to use?

Thanks

I use light Spiderwire (fishing line) but lots of people complain about it.  I never had any problems.

Agree!  Except that Spiderwire is no longer "Spectra".  Check the boxes to be sure it says "Spectra" somewhere.  Spiderwire may be good as ever, but who knows? Get the lightest stuff you can find.

I would think you could go out at least to 15 ft radius.

Thanks, Ray, and Larry!

Spectra in a light "lb. rating" about 15'.  Got it. ;D

I flew these Micro Ringmasters on about 20 feet of typical 1/2A Dacron line. It was too heavy for such small models. They did much better on 20 to 25 feet of .008 cable. Season's Greetings, EWP
