Screamer speedship.
« on: June 23, 2016, 02:15:48 PM »
Does anyone know how I could get hold of a plan for the Screamer? I believe it was designed for the Hornet 60.

Thanks,

Andrew.

What a cool looking NOS speed ship. I have the magazine with the construction article. I will be out this evening but I'll scan the article/plan for you tomorrow.

True to his word, the plan and article arrived promptly the day after. Thanks again Dennis! The Screamer is a very pretty looking ship, much, much better than the early speedsters and before they all started to look the same!
Dennis even said he was tempted to make one, but a Dooling 61 would take the place of the Hornet!

Dennis,
Could you post the pictures of the ship and the plans?

How fast do you suppose this was?  I like it but that bell crank is kind of scary.
