I agree.  But the "masters of the event" have allowed any engine position.  So the sidewinder & upside down positions are legal. 
Both of mine are upside right like the plan.
The sidewinder is harder to build, but it make the flyweight carb work.

still working on that, found I can also get it to work up right, just not enough hrs in the day

they average around 30in . my renegade is 34 in
