Don's B-25 is in primer.
« on: May 28, 2016, 07:25:48 PM »
As the subject line says, the B-25 is now in primer.  No Charles I haven't weighed it.  I just want it to look nice.  Now the fun part smoothing it all down and see all the dings.   You will notice no gun turrets yet.  Was going to take a bottom shot but camera battery went flat.

John,

The model is shaping up, looks really good.  H^^

Do I see working flaps on both sides of the nacelles? Does the kit come this way or is this something you added?

Here's my choice for a color scheme. These stripes are red. I'm sure there's a decal sheet someplace for this aircraft.

Very nice, Doc. If you can bring it in at about 52-54 ounces it should fly real good! That would be about the same wing loading as the T-6 or SBD and they fly really good!

I believe there were Navy versions of the B-25, and the top was dark blue? That would look pretty cool, IMO. Some flames on the nacelles would make it fly better. Dad loved his B-25, except for the extreme noise.  ;)  Steve
