Z-Best or Demon engine cleaner
« on: November 06, 2016, 10:49:25 AM »
Guys,
Got some baked on castor that I would like to remove. There was a product named Z-Best engine cleaner. Is this product still available? I saw that Brodak has a product called Demon Cleaner that sounds like the same stuff but it is out of stock does anyone else carry this product?

Best,    DennisT

I got my last batch of Demon Clean from BJ's Model Engine Service. Unfortunately, the company is no longer in business and the assets are being sold on eBay.

Any of the strong alkaline cleaners will work. I use Castrol Super Clean.

I had an unopened can of that Z-Best stuff on the windowsill over my work bench. It ate holes in the tin can and spread itself all over my bench. I wouldn't have that crap in my shop.  R%%%%

Why not use the crockpot method with some nice fresh Prestone?  y1 Steve
