Wow........Warren sure did a lot of great photo's so thanks for that. I can't post video's because we are still in OZ and tomorrow my wife and I are going back to New Zealand and only get back to Darkest Africa on the 10th of June! What a tough life

IT struck before dawn, lashing Perth and the South-West with wild winds and drenching downpours that left a trail of destruction from the sea to the suburbs.

A powerful cold front with 100km/h winds, thunderstorms and hail pounded WA on Saturday, with the weather bureau warning gusty winds are expected again on Sunday and possible thunderstorms on Monday.

Heavy rain caused mass flooding throughout Perth, bringing roads and freeways to a crawl, while the storm uprooted trees and ripped off branches like confetti, downing power lines that left 60,000 households without electricity.

We dont know how lucky we are .
