Absolutely a GREAT airplane!!!  Keep it as light as you can (per Billy's orders) and use a good power system!  I used a T&L St G.51 with a three blade CF prop pitched at 4 3/4.  Best model I have ever flown!!  Sold it and wish I had not :(  I really really need another one!  I talked with The Man every day as I built it and started flying it, was a great experience!

There have been 4 built so far on my table.

I got mine on Saturday.  It is typical of Walter's high standards.  Very nice kit.

Just opened the kit box on Walter's USA-1. Not to take anything away from our other excellent kit cutters, but I have never seen anything like this. This is as good as a model kit is likely to ever be, simply amazing. I think Walter still has a few kits available, so if anyone out there has ever wondered about building a USA -1, now is the time. Balsa quality, ply quality, everything, is like no other kit I have seen, and I have seen a lot.
