Fly along on a stunt pattern on the Primary Force.
Fun way to get a peek at what surrounds our Piston Popper's flying site. I shot two different angles and blended them.
I enjoy looking at these from time to time as they make me see the pattern a new way.

Shug,

Really cool video! I was surprise at how little the elevator moves on most manuvers. Looks like the triangle and the sq's take the most movement. I didn't see (or notice ) the hour glass but I'd guess it'd be about the same as a triangle.

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!Bob Reeves and Elwyn did almost the same thing several years back it took a lot of equipment to record that then.Technology has changed a bunch

That was AWESOME!

My sole complaint is that the elevator did not stay in frame since your fastening system did not prevent all movement.

BUT IT IS AWESOME!

I was trying to get some of the shake out of the video by stabilizing it and it crops it from time to time.

thanks so very much for that. I am only a novice, starting again from 1975, but I have to say your videos and enthusiasm have gone a long way to getting me back into it!
Really enjoyed seeing the actual elevator movement I have been having trouble visualizing the amount of travel needed.

Loved it Shug. It is stunt with out feeling the G forces. Although when you are on the handle you kind of do. Great video and thanks for posting it. You the man.

Ya quite a contraption with all analog equipment, Analog camera to a wireless transmitter to a receiver into a VHS video recorder running off a UPS repurposed to use as an inverter running off my van battery. Flight package weighed 6 ounces and was in 3 pieces.

Recorded several different angles did one flight on the TwistMaster with the camera turned around where you could see the flaps and elevator during the entire pattern. It was amazing just how little deflection it actually takes. We sold tapes to help the club treasury. This was way before YouTube and the GoPro had to be 9 or 10 years ago.
