Though I couldn't be there since I was attending a contest, Steve Moon came for a visit and some fun.

I had a great time! Lots of fun hanging at the flying field and
enjoying the beautiful weather, meeting many of the guys here
in Sao Paulo and getting a couple of flights in.

The Shark flies very good! It's a little sensitive around neutral, I found
myself occasionally putting a little hitch into the straight legs if I wasn't
too careful. Of course, I'm sure that more than one practice flight before
putting in a pattern would cure this. If I got my usual 19 practice flights
before the Nats I'd be ready to go!

Bene has a DR 76 in his, which is the same motor I use, so that made
things pretty easy. I thought the plane flew the vertical eights and overhead
eights very well. it was very easy to just pick up the handle and start
flying the pattern. I fully understand why there are so many of these
planes being used around the world. It also looks really good at the end
of the lines.

   I have flown a couple of them, and they do fly pretty well. I noticed the same thing, there's very little feedback around neutral. I think it's more lack of required control pressure than it is sensitivity. I am also not sure how much that has to do with the engine vice the controls. I would expect it to be even more that way with electric.

I could tell you liked the V 8.  It just carved right through it.

Let's see ..... flying left handed in the southern hemisphere ..... according to my calculations you should have flown the pattern inverted  n~ #^
