Special Preview Bob Gieseke Memorial Contest
« on: May 17, 2016, 08:26:06 PM »
Mike Keville has given us permission to use his paining of Bob with his last small Gieseke Nobler.

I hope that this will be an incentive for people to attend.

There will be more details in the contest section, but suffice it to say that we will include Aerobatics, Profile Aerobatics, OTS, Classic, and Five Racing events

One of Mikes best rendering yet!
I hope that one day, Uncle Mikey might be inspired do do a Hemstrought PT-19.

I think I might know of a pretty decent subject to work with.

Hey Larry,

How about that nice Don Still Stuka with that beautiful black hand-rubbed dope finish?  Oh yeah, how could I forget.  Just saw part of it on the wall at Warren Walker's shop a short while back.

Your killing me Bill
Just when I was getting over that loss, you have to bring the "Wall of Shame"

By the way I've got another Still Stuka built that's just about ready for paint. But when painting  black, you know as well as I do, the prep takes forever.
I miss all you smart-asses from So-Cal
