We have a similar sign at Buder Park (St Louis area) that says CL only and especially no RC cars allowed.  The RC guys have their own area, the drones have an area and then is a CL area that has been in use since the 1960's.

We had a sign stating for control line model airplane use only.  It was torn up and used for target practice.   Still looking for the brainless turd with the off road vehicle.
