We still miss Bob.

I got tired of
taking/culling/editing/cropping/uploading
Lots of photos.
So here's how it works now.  Take a few pics on the iPhone, sit down for 5 minutes, facebook the good ones, DONE.  I hope everybody loves facebook.

I saw only a couple of Palmer-designed models.  Not much of a tribute to Mr. Palmer.
89 years, but still going (sort of)

Yes, it should have been an entire field of Smoothies and Thunderbirds.

Please send me the scores for Stunt News. Better yet, include who flew what airplanes and what powerplants.

Floyd if you have any idea on how to get even half a field of C/L aircraft, much less all Palmer designs at our contests, I am all ears.

Thanks Paul for the pictures.  Now you've given me something new to learn.  Now, will I live long enough to learn every thing.  We are lucky to have enough entries in this area to give away the awards.

Apology to the Knights

Sorry guys, I had a family emergency over the prior weekend and minor personal health issue over this weekend, so I just couldn't make it. Nor did I make it to the US Team practice/coaching system. I would love to have been able to come, but it's just wasn't wise/possible.

Assuming we can still legally fly model airplanes next year,  I will make it a point to schedule for the Bob Palmer meet if at all possible.

Yeah, let's hear it for breaking the "Stupid" law!

I believe the correct term for it is "Deliberate Civil Disobedience", to quote Mr. Henry David Thoreau.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  In the case of Mr Thoreau his influential friends had to go to "bat" for him to get him out of trouble!

Didn't work too well for him.  Maybe better for us???

A Republican Administration might help...

You will still be able to fly them, but to build one, need FAA inspectors to review the engineering documentation and structure at regular intervals. You may need an A&E license too.  mw~

Absurd!  Absolutely absurd.  All of this silliness going on while 'our' Academy of Multirotors & ARFs continues to promote quadcopters and FPV.

Gosh, only the first 15 pages of the latest Tower mailer were Quadcopters, what's the problem?
