Oh boy.

I was just talking by PM to a fellow modeler a couple of days ago about using just those same colors.

How weird is that?

How can I not say great colors! H^^

I got about 4 email's from Jan today asking about my Cardinal...Could hardly understand them though, must be a foreigner?  Jan sent some pics to me as well but google says the are malicious and won't open them.  I was wondering if it was spam but apparently Jan is real??

Hmm ? for the first photo,
I see one beautiful angel holding a T-Rex , right behind her, a pic. of the dark red glowing "Eiffel Tower of Paris" and
oh Lord forgive me , great balls of fire.
Please post details about the T-Rex ic ?, elec.? engine? etc, etc. thanx.
Details about the angel are more than perfect, my respect.
And PLEASE teach your angel how to fly, I did it many moons ago.
She always came back from the Center with a BIG SMILE on her face.

oops...... the prop is telling me.....it's going electric.

If I understood him correctly, Jan has modified to electric and uses the KR timer.  About 2000 grams or about 70 oz.

There is an ARC (or there used to be I haven't checked lately), and modified versions have been flown in the Nats.  As long as you assemble the model and finish it, it is legal.

Or you could build one from my plans.  You could also build your own fuselage and use the wing and tail, same as everyone else does by buying similar parts from various sources.  Still a Trex.  I highly recommend the design.  It is quite good.

not to debate or string the thread to far, but my understanding of the BOM is that you can buy one major componant built,, not an entire airplane,, so you could use the wing...or the tail, or the fuse?but for sure not an ARC or ARF as sold leastwise not in OPEN

It is great design.  Better than anything I ever flew.  It goes right where you point it and the elliptical wing with the Genesis airfoil fight turbulence like crazy.  The side view layout is most similar to a Patternmaster.  The wing construction which is most similar to a combat plane wing, keeps the weight down even with suspect wood.

If you want to see a real killer you should see the 600 sq inch version.

Also, it is quite obvious it lends itself to electric quite nicely.  Better than more lawn dart designs....  but you can easily run a pipe or side or rear exhaust.
