I have a yearning to build the PDK Buster 45. Would be powering with OS LA 46. Has anyone had experience with this improved version of the old Goldberg Buster? Thanks
I built the new glow version of the Shoestring, LA 46 powered, and a friend built the electric version Having flown both of them they are light years better than the Goldberg version.
But, keep in mind these are 45 sized models and they build lighter than the old 35 size and they are capable of turning as good or better a corner than many flapped models. The electric version was probably the model that made me abandon glow and move to electric powered with a Cobra 25 it offered spectacular performance.
The whole point of the above paragraph is to basically say get one put an LA46 or something good around that size and get ready to grin. The buster and shoestring and hopefully Pat will do the Cosmic Wind some time if he hasn't already done so all should fly just about the same so I doubt that you would be disappointed.
