November weather
« on: November 23, 2015, 06:31:55 PM »
I went to the shop to work on the B-25 fuse.   Finished the planking and then mixed some green fuel I have sitting around with some castor oil to run some engines.   Came out and no wind plus temps in the 60's.   Put pit box and fuel in the Suburban and headed for the field.   Used my ear muffs to protect the ear that was cut on.   Strange flying and you can't hear the engine.  Even starting I could barely tell the old Fox was running.  Got two old time fights in on the new fuel, so I guess I got the mix right.   Made another set of lines for the Ringmasters.  Couldn't believe it was 05:30 PM and it was dark.

I think Dave's right in that we may have to spike the field.   Even the sign and extra patrols the brainless nit wits still putting ruts in the circle.   So what size spikes should I get? LL~ LL~

.308 works well.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.
