AMA is requiring ALL contest participants to sign a new form.
AMA FLIGHT SAFETY DECLATATION and EVENT PARTICIPATION LIST (FORM 10B).
See Model Aviation APRIL 2016 page 159 for the AMA requirement notice.
Required Info:
NAME EMAIL ADDRESS AMA class AMA NUMBER
MAILING ADDRESS signature
This will slow down the registration process as each contestant would have to fill out the form one at a time.
As part of our MCLS information management database we have all of the UPPER CASE, BOLD, fields for contestants who have attended one of our contests in the past 8 years.
Using this information we can fill out the 10B form with the exception of the lower case fields that need to be filled in at the registration desk, at the hotel or at the field on practice days.
I will be AVAILABLE at the Huntersville Super 8 motel or at the field from Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.
Entry fees will be collected at each event location.

TO DO THIS WE WILL NEED EACH OF YOU TO NOTIFY ME IF YOU PLAN ON COMPEATING IN ANY EVENT IN THE SPRING CONTEST. PLEASE INDICATE STUNT, CARRER or CONBAT as THERE WILL BE SEPERATE SHEETS FOR THESE 3 CLASSES
You will only need to sign ONCE no matter how many events entered

IF YOU HAVE NOT ATTENDED ONE OF OUR CONTESTS PLEASE SENF ME YOUR PERSONNAL INFORMATION,ABOVE, SO YOU CAN BE INCLUDED.
YON DO NOT NEED TO PRE-REGISTER as BLANK 10B SHEETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT NOTIFIED US.
Spectators, Judges or Contest officials who do not fly in any event do not have to register.

Howard,

You do know that the Form 10B is NOT fillable. I am trying to get the AMA to make them fillable like I did a few years ago. Even if they won't, there are programs available online to make a pdf form fillable.

We plan to copy and blow up the "Fine Print" for everyone to read BEFORE they sign up. That only adds the signature to the actual sign-up.

We also do preregistration for the Skyliners contest and Beginners Stunt at the NATS to speed things up.

I haven't seen you since Brodak. I hope all is well with you.

MIKE. WHAT I HAVE DONE IS PRINT OUT THE 10B TO A HARD COPY THEN PRINT ALL THE AVAIABLE INFO TO THE HARD COPY FORM FROM MY ACCES DATABASE. ALL THAT EACH CONTESTANT NEEDS TO DO IS REVIEW/CORRECT THIER INFO, CHECK AMA STATUS and SIGN THE HARD COPY.

Hi Vinnie
I hope you'll fly Profile Saturday too. That's my favorite event since there are no skill classes, and I get to fly with you Advanced and Experts.
It's so much more relaxed than early morning PAMPA Sunday... chilly, damp, too much rushing, and my breakfast making dubious rumbles Lol. But Sunday is the one I want to win, so I'll be in both.

The contest is this weekend, looking forward to seeing everyone, the field is being prepared this week , if anyone is going to be at the field before Friday morning , call me or text me at 704 860 1079 or any of the event directors for access to be field, we have a plan to get you in immediately if the gate is closed .

Hobby stop in rock hill sc is only one I know of 30 plus minutes down I 77. Mostly rc cars, but Watt Moore has pushed them to carry more modeling stuff, some control line , but not much. Better than average hobby shop

There is a very good hobby shop in China Grove, Landis NC. It is just off Interstate 85 on rt 29 just north of Kannapolis.
It is about 25 miles north east of Huntersville.High speed hobbies.http://www.hshobbies.com/
