The guy died saving a friend.  Can't think of a better way to go.

My guess. given his age and overweight appearance is that he may very well have died of a heart attack from the physical exertion of saving the dog.

Too bad, but such is life!

Allot of people die saving dogs, they overestimate their abilities. Just remember to think twice.

I just looked at that video and was surprised I new that family and I lived near to Booker creek. It is full of alligators. Lake Tarpon has a lot of wild areas on it. I use to swim in it 45 years ago. Water ski on it also. I lived on the outfall canal for lake Tarpon and saw some huge Diamondbacks there.
