PAMPA deserves a gold star!
They have kept the integrity of the Beginner class in CLPA!
Other control line events have bastardized their "entry" or Beginner" classes to the point that the original intent has disappeared.
.15 Carrier originated as an entry level event.....but is FULL of folk flying two or three other Carrier events......beginners lose.
Combat has proposed entry level events, yet they soon fill with "hot hands".....beginners lose....
Scale has morphed a pretty good entry level class : Fun Scale, into a class where older (sometimes) National Championship entries are flown by a friend, with full documentation and requiring adherence to Scale rules, thus killing it to someone who might want to "try" Scale....
PAMPA even defines when a flier must exit Beginner Stunt.....
