So, who's this Irene?

When I was in high school Irene lived across the street from us.  She kept inviting me to her and her girl-friends sleep-over parties.  Why would I want to go to that for?  We had our hot-rods and beer and could cruise the drag in my 40 Ford with a Corvette engine with my buddies!  Woo-hoo!!

ahhh, wait a minute....

OMG!!!  What was wrong with me!!!!????!!!

Irene's my wife. If you lived in Moosup,CT in the late 50's you may know her.
