While getting ready for Joe Nall at the Hotel a girl walked by while I was repairing paint on my Continental for a photo shoot

Disaster with a stroke of good luck

We took off work today early and loaded Jerry's Motorhome and headed for Joe Nall. We made it to the end of the street and the transmission let go. We drove a few miles in hopes it would clear up and headed back to the transmission shop. The mechanic is rebuilding right now. We hope to be on the road by mid-afternoon Thursday. That is when we originally were going to leave but tried to go early. So it looks like Friday and Saturday are the only days we will be there. All is not lost yet.

Roy Orbison did fly CL as a kid and was into RC bigtime when he died.
