Thanks for the compliment and enlarging the photo. Of course I only see the mess now. Thanks Bubba! LL~

Charles,
Thanks for the compliment. You do nice work yourself!

Bob,
Thanks for the kind words. As mentioned I appreciate the guidance and try to retain as much info as possible. Getting jazzed to get her in the air!

Lovely airplane.

Why the droopy nose?  Does it fly better that way or just look cool?

Thanks, Howard!

I built it because of the cool factor. Also, banking on the fact that it would fly at least as good as Bob's others. I won't be able to tell you if it flies differently or not but, Bob will be with me for trim flights and I'm sure he will give a full report.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Howard:

The actual reason for the "dropped nose" (my attempt at a humorous name for it...) is to move the thrust line closer to the wing center line. The fact that we are using somewhat less diameter allows this without having to go to longer landing gear legs. I'd really like an in-line Crossfire, and may build one in the future, All the in-line ships I've had in the past flew great. You do need longer LG legs with them however...

Later - Bob

I couldn't agree with you more Shawn! And you're right Sparky; don't watch the games where players disrespect our country...........which by the way was/is the reason they can play FB and become "RICH" in the process. Can you name another country where they "get rich" playing a game????????????????????????????  Neither can I.

OBTW Shawn, you're too kind! LOL!

See you at GS, GA
FIRST ,, LET IT BE KNOWN I do not support these athletes in this protest
but in fairness, most every europeon country has profesional soccer players that make serious bank.
also Formula one drivers make Bank
so the argument that we are the only country that makes athletes rich is false,,

again, I do not agree with what they are doing
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

Yes actually, while I do not support their "protest" method, every European country has soccer teams that the players are all payed as well as our football players, Formula one drivers, all very highly payed and European, there are foreign basketball, and baseball leagues that are all payed well,, so yeah other countries do have well payed athletes,,

that said, I oppose the whole premise they are protesting on,, but facts are important

It's like landing on stilts.
