Hello friends, I just received the news that our dear Marcus has just died from complications in his stomach. Sorry, I do not know how to communicate in English, but soon more news comes!

I'm so sorry to hear this.  Its such a terrible shock.  Marcus was such a great promoter of our sport.  He'll be greatly missed.

I also heard this. Marcus was quite young. I spoke with him regularly and he was a great promoter of control line and a really good guy. "Bad Ass" will be missed.

This is indeed terrible news.  Marcus was a good person and a true friend to all who knew him.  My heart is heavy and my prayers go out for his family and friends!

This is terrible news. Marcus was a very enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated and friendly human being. His loss will be felt by all who knew him or knew of him.
Marcus was also a great builder/finisher, and his planes were just gorgeous. Too young, too soon...

I did not know of  Marcus other than through this wonderful website. I still feel a particular loss by the losing of a fellow modeler. Our hobby is such an international involvement that the loss of anyone, worldwide, is tragic. Your English is well enough, Marcelo. You are able to get your point across to those of us that can only speak English. I could not do the same in your language. We are very sorry for your loss. We are very sorry for Marcus' family's loss. We are very sorry for South America's loss.

Yesterday was his farewell, and I was present, it was very sad. It's been hard to believe this has happened, but he's fine.

This is so sad.  I enjoyed his articles in CL world. He was a good builder for sure. At one time my boss was going to send me to Brazil for work. I had reached out to Marcus and he gave me an open invitation to come fly with him.
