Buder Park - will be closed for Private event on March 31 thru April 2

Hello all,

If you are planning on flying at Buder Park on March 31 thru April 2 you will not be able to. A Rugby game has been scheduled at Buder Park on those days and they have reserved the entire Buder Park so we have been told that we will not be able to use the CL circles.

I asked to make sure that the entire Buder was reserved and I was told yes, they reserved the entire park. Regardless if they use the entire park or not they have reserved the entire park so it is out of our control.

   What about after hours? The rugby guys certainly won't be playing all day and all night! Now that we have some day light savings time, it would be possible to get a few flights late in the afternoon and into early evening.
   As a side , sad note, Wayne C. Kennedy , the former long time Superintendent of the St. Louis County Parks System, and the leader behind the acquisition of Buder Park, recently passed away. Thanks for the Park, Mr. Kennedy.
