Atmospheric Bound
« on: March 08, 2016, 04:38:58 PM »
I thought I would post this You Tube video created by Sam Niebel. Many of you know Sam from the Nats - he's in school doing great right now. This short video is of the second flight of my new fun scale aircraft. Not exactly precision aerobatics, but there is a loop involved and a greaser landing.

Had a sick battery and a sticky wheel dolly, but it all works out it the end.

Hope you enjoy - here is the link:

Speaking of WW2 German designs, I ran across this one today. Not Control-line but still interesting. Has some great camera work at the start. When you see drawings of the many unusual aircraft concepts they came up with, it is interesting to see one actually take to the air.
