N30 Questions

It is all a little fuzzy to me but if memory serves me correctly, one could modify a Classic plane a little to make it more user friendly.
You could not stretch nose/tail moments etc but could change a few things to make the plane a little more "reasonable" if that is the correct word.

I am looking at different planes and have these questions:
1) Could someone substitute a foam wing for a built up wing for something like a Stielleto?  I realize you can do whatever you want but would this be frowned upon?
2) Could you slightly widen the width of a fuse (not depth for side area) to make an actual production fuel tank fit?

Which Stiletto was built with the foam wing?
I did some plan comparing today, there really is a lot of neat stuff from this time frame!

Hi Ty,

We have the Stiletto plans (.35 Size, OS .35S) from MAN, which is the "585", correct?  Aaron had heard of the "585", but the article in MAN does not specify the wing area (at least I didn't see it! LL~)

Correct and that one is the one that would be great with an AT36,  Aaron asked me about a 660, which is too large for a AT36

Yes the plan you have is the one I am talking about, It is much smaller than the 660, and is a GREAT  flying airplane
Yes you can make it with a built up rib, D tube or I Beam  or  a foam wing
