I got mine in the mail last week.  It is a beauty.  Can't wait to give it a try.

Jim,
I want the 4" bender. I will pay thru pay pal. How wide is the bar? Not length but width.

Dick
The tank bender pieces themselves are from 1/4" x 1/2" mild steel.    With 10-24 SHCS and 1/8" dowel alignment pins.....
Thanks
Jim

I got it today and just had to make one of the 1/2A tanks I need. Jim this is the slickest tools for making tanks. The best feature is being able to measure the size from the clamp to the 1000Th's of an inch assuring a square tank.

If you plan on building your own tanks, this is a must have.

If you build your own tanks, or think you might some day, you have to have one of these tools. I picked one up from Jim at Tulsa's contest and made my first tank with it today. Sure beats trying to line up two pieces of flat steel with two "C" clamps and trying to keep it all straight. Makes tank building a breeze except for those pesky end plates. I even used Jims tool to bend two of the sides on those. Try one! You will like it.
