Pilot drill for prop holes to enlarge to 5mm
« on: August 16, 2011, 06:16:02 PM »
Jim,
I was wondering if you have or could make a prop drill that had a 1/4" pilot stud with a drill around it to allow enlarging the hole to 5mm?

Thanks,              DennisT

Not Jim, but I have to ask: how will you drill a hole to enlarge from 1/4" to 5mm since 5mm is smaller than 1/4"?

I am not set up to do drill bits....    A pilot could be cut in the end, but I'm a bit leery of that....   Those drill bits can be 'bit' hard!
