So having decimated a few planes over the last few flight sessions and moving I had some left over parts that to me seemed just to good to throw out so I made them into a plane that I will call SCRAPS.  This has parts from a trainer, a ringmaster, and the fuselage from a Argentinian design called Manacaca. The engine is gp25 that was kicking around and the monokote was left over from prior builds.  I put it together just because.

You need a longer propeller... 
How does take-off work out with single wheel?

With a single wheel the take off is the same, you just have to make sure to be ready to step back on release to maintain line tension.  The prop will be a 10X5 or 10X4.

     Hello David:

     Do not sweat this setup! I just put a ST G20/.23 on a similar airplane and in the past, that combination has worked very well for me.  I have flown many planes with one wheel and many times I used a stooge to launch the plane!  The single wheel is great for flying over rough grass as it prevents the plane from nosing over upon landing.  I have gone as far as to place a skid on the bottom of the plane in lieu of any wheels.  This too works very well for hand launching and landing on grass!  I have also been known to place a small wheel on the top of the plane to protect the nva, Lol

just a quick follow up flight report the maiden flight was good, no issues the plane flys very flat and level. It turns on a dime and is going to be a great trainer for maneuvers and inverted flight. The engine provided a good run so on to making a better pilot.
