FUEL -OIL INCREASE FORMULA
« on: September 19, 2015, 01:40:17 PM »
Got almost a  gallon(80% full)  of Power Master 10/22 that I want to add castor to essentially make it 10/29 for my old Foxes.

 Formula ?

 Chart somewhere ?

Don't think the nitro % should change all that much.

Frank,

Try this link.

http://www.nitrorc.com/fuelws/

Go to the bottom of the page, and select "Add oil only", then enter the fuels current contents. Works great!

Nitro % doesn't change at all just by adding oil. The % may seem to change when you consider the nitro/methanol/oil package but if you consider only the actual fuel, which is the methanol/nitro part, then their relative percentages don't change.

Frank, probably late in the game due to the event today but this came direct from Powermaster.

We sold 12 gallons last year. It does not make business sense to produce this blend. I would suggest you purchase the GMA 10/22 and add 265 milliliters of castor. I would try this first.

A gallon = 128 ounces, so 1.28 ounces = 1% in a full gallon. So in an 80% gallon .... a guessing game unless you want to measure the fluid ounces.
