Ok, I am not sure where this really longs.....
I had a problem today that as a kid would have ended the model I am working on....
I have been putting the model outside and mounting it in my workmate snug against the motor bearer and the fuselage....
Now this is a 1/2A electric where the profile fuse has a small section above and below the motor.
The problem is that when I went back outside I found that the wind had ripped it clean off.
So the question is how critical are those extensions to the strength of the profile models
I guess the next problem is to figure out some way to mount or hold the model securly so I can paint it and let it dry outside....

Nobody has any thoughts on weather that part of the profile fuselage is required ?
