I would note that Super-Duper Coach Ted Fancher and his chief toolbox-toter and perennial NATS 4th-placer are on hand Saturday and will conduct a day-long flying session/coaching session on Saturday, starting early and ending when one or both of us keels over from heat prostration!

This will be the same sort of session we had last time to general satisfaction - you get on a circle with one or the other of us, and just do a normal flying session, with putative hot-shots around to coach and provide the 100+ years of collective knowledge. No Powerpoint charts or lugubrious lectures on whether that hourglass was a 34 or a 35, just flying like normal except with Nats champions as your flying buddies.

   Brett

p.s. it's currently 110 degrees (that's right, one hundred and ten) at 5:30 in the afternoon at Woodland. Bring lots of Gatorade!

Darn, I signed up specifically for the lugubrious lecture!

Weather is forecast to cool off considerably at Davis by Sat and Sun with high of 93 predicted, which is very moderate for that location in August. If the flying and lugubriosity is started early and finishes by early afternoon it should be fine. But still bring the Gatorade and Easy-Up. And a boatload of sunblock.
