Houston Memorial Day Contest May 23-24

I'd like to invite everyone to the Houston Memorial Day contest at Scobee Field.  Stuntwise we'll fly OTS, Classic, and Profile on Sat. and BIAE PAMPA Stunt on Sunday.  Racing events on Sat. and combat both days.  Come on down and get a tuneup on the site that will host the F2B Team Trials this year.

Shooting for a Sunday test flight, weather permitting. If it flies well enough off the board it will fly at the contest!  If not it will be there for trimming flights afterward.

Certainly the FAA could use some help down here in Houston, come on down ..... Thanks for the complement on the flyer drawing ...I like the lines of the RV...... would make a good stunt ship I think.

Points for Classic and PA, no strict bom, just zero appearance points if you didn't bom.

With all the recent rain in north Texas, I am wondering about the current condition of Scobee Field. How wet is it?

The field didn't go under as it has in the past.  I was out this afternoon.  Its been mowed and is in good shape.  Wet spots in the usual places, but that's normal.  We should be in good shape for Sat. for sure ..... Sunday, probably ok till late afternoon.
