Evo .60 Stunt Version
« on: April 23, 2015, 06:48:21 PM »
Hi All,

This would probably belong in the Engine Tips, but more people will see it here. ;D

I need a good estimate how much fuel this engine needs to fly the Pattern (not an 8 min. run!) on 5% nitro?

Thanks, all!

Hi Bill, mine uses 5.5 ounces with a RSM 12x5.5 prop and 10% nitro regular R/C fuel. Forget what RPM, it's been awhile since I have flown the plane it is installed in.  Mileage will be better with 5% but I still wouldn't go smaller than a 5.5 ounce tank-6 preferable. 8)

Bill
I would definitely say 6 oz, maybe a touch more....     Easy to take a bit of fuel out.....
Thanks
Jim
