Hi All,
This would probably belong in the Engine Tips, but more people will see it here.
I need a good estimate how much fuel this engine needs to fly the Pattern (not an 8 min. run!) on 5% nitro?

Hi Bill, mine uses 5.5 ounces with a RSM 12x5.5 prop and 10% nitro regular R/C fuel. Forget what RPM, it's been awhile since I have flown the plane it is installed in. Mileage will be better with 5% but I still wouldn't go smaller than a 5.5 ounce tank-6 preferable.

I would definitely say 6 oz, maybe a touch more.... Easy to take a bit of fuel out.....
