Does anyone recognize this ESC?
« on: March 05, 2015, 10:31:54 AM »
A friend gave me this to see if I could track down some information on how to use it, because I'm an "expert" (hah!  more fool him!).  It's a small ESC, attached to a 280-ish sized motor.  It has the usual battery and receiver inputs, but it has two wires going to a JR-style female connector.  I assume that extra lead is for an arming switch, and that it needs a switch closure to turn things on -- but I don't know, and neither does my friend.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Gosh Howard, I don't know what we'd all do without you!
