Aerobrás is the oldest hobby shop in the country, and the most important to build the body of modelists for the last 50 years or more
ok, the last 15 years was dominated by google and newcomers that only lives on the internet, so before that, Aerobras ruled!
if you enter the shop today, the smell of balsa brings you straight to your childhood, like a time machine!
i entered the shop in 1984 with my late Grandpa and he bought me the Olimpia Junior contorline model, this lead to a lifelong career as a hobbist and professional
the guy that helped me at the balcony was Fernando, a legendary man, who still is standing there helping newcomers with the same care as back in the 80´s, 70´s.....lol
tha shop indeed still looks the same as back in the eighties!
and Fernando keep dying his hair to keep the general look of the place!
i have build most of aerobras designs over the years, all old fashion saw band cut or "die crunched"
